Food Service

Vicksburg Community Schools will continue to provide free breakfast and lunch for all students via the Michigan School Meals funding from the State of Michigan for the 2025-2026 school year.

Families who qualify for Federal Free & Reduced Price Meals are still encouraged to apply. The application only takes a few minutes to complete, and your information will be kept safe and confidential. These forms are not only used to make sure students who need free and reduced meals get them, but they are also used to determine funding for several VCS programs. Every application that is not submitted means lost educational programs and resources for our students.

Please log into your Family Portal and click on the “apply for benefits” button to complete the form.

For any questions about school meals or the benefit forms, please contact Food Service Director Sarah Dyer at sdyer@vicksburgschools.org or 269-321-1033.

Access School Lunch Accounts

In the Family Portal, guardians can view student lunch activity, make credit card deposits to add money for extra food items and check student balances.

First time users will have to create an account. You will need the following information handy in order to access information about your student: Student ID Number and Student Birth Date. Note: If the student ID number begins with a ZERO, delete that zero.

Click here for the Spanish Language version of the Education Benefit Form.

If your student has an allergy or needs special meal accommodations, please print out the Special Diet Guide Form and have a doctor fill it out completely.

Once filled out, please return to sdyer@vicksburgschools.org

If you have questions or concerns, please call or email Sarah Dyer, VCS Food Service Director at sdyer@vicksburgschools.org or (269) 321-1033.
