Food Service
As we prepare for the new school year, we want to provide an update regarding school breakfast and lunch. At this time, the Michigan Legislature has not finalized the state budget for the upcoming year. As a result, we do not yet know if free or reduced meal programs for all students will continue beyond September.
Vicksburg Community Schools will provide one free breakfast and one free lunch per student each school day through September 30, 2025. This is possible through current funding that will carry us through the first month of school. However, beginning October 1, the availability of free meals will depend on the final state budget and any new program guidelines.
We will share updates as soon as the state provides direction.
Thank you for your understanding as we navigate this uncertainty, and for your continued support of our students and schools.
Parents can view their balances, add money and set up email alerts in the Family Portal. Choose “my account” to add funds.
By clicking the link above, parents and guardians can enter the Family Portal where they can view student lunch activity, make credit card deposits and check student balances.
First time users will have to create an account. You will need the following information handy in order to access information about your student: Student ID Number and Student Birth Date. Note: If the student ID number begins with a ZERO, delete that zero.
