Featuring many lovable characters and fun-filled songs, Junie B. Jones JR. will capture your heart - just as the books captivated an entire generation of students.
Every legendary hero has to start somewhere. The Heart of Robin Hood is filled with swashbuckling, acrobatics, comedy, romance and original music, played on-stage. Forget everything you ever knew about Robin Hood. In this reimagining, the notorious Robin Hood and his band of outlaws steal from the rich, creating a fearsome reputation among those who dare to travel through the mighty forest of Sherwood. But they do not share their spoils with the poor and are unloved by the people, who must also pay unfair taxes to the evil Prince John as he plots to steal his brother's crown. In this time of chaos and fear, it is down to Marion to boldly protect the poor and convince Robin that he must listen to his heart if they are to save the country.

About the Vicksburg Performing Arts Center
Located at 501 East Highway Street, the Vicksburg Performing Arts Center opened its doors in 1994 to support arts-in-education programs, offering many programs designed to inspire young people through the arts, enhancing their studies and enriching their lives well into the future.
The Performing Arts Center soon became one of Southwest Michigan's premier entertainment venues and the artistic home to South Kalamazoo County's performing arts organizations: Vicksburg Rotary Club, The Vicksburg Community Association and the South County Players.
The Vicksburg Performing Art Center features a large modern stage with handicap access, orchestra pit, grand piano, make-up room, green room, wardrobe and dressing rooms and a convenient cargo loading area. Equipped with state-of-the-art lighting, sound, rigging, and electrical supply systems, the venue has been host to a wide array of entertainers from television and film stars John Astin, Dick Van Patten and Frank Gorshin to the world-renown Glenn Miller Orchestra. The Gilmore Keyboard Festival and WMU Children's Dance Theater routinely use our stage.
In addition to performance space, the Performing Arts Center Staff and volunteers offer support in technical theater to lessees, plus advice to community organizations interested in producing event such as concerts, theater performances, workshop services, recitals, corporate meeting and speakers.
The Performing Arts Center has 1011 fixed seats and 16 wheel chair spaces for total seating of 1027.
Volunteers give the valuable gift of their time and we welcome and appreciate all who contribute in this important way. From ushers to ticket office assistants, the volunteers are an integral part of the operation of the Performing Arts Center. Volunteering not only enhances PAC activities but also creates rewarding opportunities for social contact in an exciting atmosphere.
